RAYMARINE in there wisdom stopped making them

Have you tried a generic adapter? I have no idea if it will work, but is cheap enough to try:

On a Raymarine help forum it was stated they do not work.

Don't waste time and money trying a generic adapter, it doesn't work.
Raymarine has a proprietary circuitry in the A62311 adapter that deals with the copyright protection scheme.
Ebay is the only chance .

On ebay they sell for 400 bucks ! I have one with my A50 and it works fine
