You can buy a brand new FAMILY SEW machine which has a bigger throat area, from ZamirSew for around $500. I love mine. Sewed PTFE thread without adjustment; I'm quite impressed with the FAMILY SEW

Great price point. I have been wanting a machine but it is hard to justify a Sailrite for just a handful of jobs.

How does that badboy do on sails?
