Sale by Tender, will seperate

Expression of interest sort on 4 items.
1.Quality Sextant from La filotecnica, Salmoiraghi, Milano
2. WALKER'S patent log, Cherub Mark 111
3 2 X Lampoil lanterns.
4 Barograph. Wind up, repairable.

Part of a estate of a shipmate. Would appreciate estimate of values, or offers.
Items are in UK.

Sextant last used 1980, has Vernier scale with a scope to assist reading, mirror slight damage still useable, I took a sunsight yesterday.

Re: Sale by Tender, will seperate

I’m afraid that their best use may be in a Museum, and maybe their best value may be reached in a Marine based antique store?
Maybe in a high end tourist area?

Sorry I have no idea, lamps seem to bring good prices though.

I was thinking the same. Try an auction house in Convent Garden, London.

Some salty items for sure. Would be a great addition to a tradotional vessel.

Giving them a good clean up would certainly help raise the price.
Should also state if they're in working order.
The nautical instrument market is filled with units that were only ever manufactured as ornaments, rather than real working equipment.
