Seahawk Slipstream props

Greetings All, I have two gently used Seahawk Slipstream stainless steel folding two blade props. They have seen some use, although I cannot tell you how much as they came on a cat we purchased in LaPaz as spares. I have never installed or used them but they appear in excellent condition. Pictures should tell you all the pertinent details but they are 15x13x1 RH rotation. How about $400 apiece or $750 if you can use both, plus shipping costs. These are located in Seattle.

Do you know what the shaft taper is?

This might help: http://www.propellerpages.com/?c=tech_info&f=tapers

Re: Seahawk Slipstream props

Sorry for the delay. Thank you for the link to the measuring instructions. Very helpful. Unfortunately I will not be able to measure them for a few days. If it helps, the boxes they came in are labeled “taper-SAE”. According to the dimensions I found online a 1” Shaft with SAE taper is what they appear to be. They were for a 1997 Lagoon 35 TPi. I will measure and get back to you as soon as I return home.

Safe journeys

Re: Seahawk Slipstream props

Greetings once again to everyone,

After some research, a few emails, and some helpful hints from our wonderful boating friends here, I was able to confirm they are cut for a 1” SAE tapered shaft. Here is a link to a page that was forwarded to me from a prop shop to assist with the specific dimensions.

Marine Propeller Shaft Dimensions: SAE Specification J755

Thank you all for your help!

Safe journeys,

~Jake

Re: Seahawk Slipstream props

I still have em, they are still taking up space in my storage locker, and I am still open to reasonable offers. Our new boat has saildrives so these props are no longer good to me even as spares. Safe Journeys!

Re: Seahawk Slipstream props

They are still available and buried somewhere in my shop. I will dig them out if you are interested. I also have the Brunton Autoprops available as well.

Safe Journeys,
~Jake
