Shipmodul Miniplex-42BT NMEA-0183 multiplexer with Bluetooth s/n 000146553 used, like new:


This unit allows a wireless link over BlueTooth (serial port emulation) or you can hardwire it to an RS-232 port of the computer. It has 4 NMEA-0183 inputs and two NMEA0183 outputs of which one supports the 38k4 hi speed setting as used on chart plotters etc.

This unit can be programmed to filter specific input sentences or create priorities over the input ports like for an automatic switch from primary to backup GPS etc.

A current unit costs $400 on navstore.com and my asking price for this unit that is in like-new condition is $125.- or best acceptable offer. I have it in Florida and can ship anywhere (shipping costs not included).

I was wondering if you could confirm that one of the input ports can be configured to take Seatalk and another the higher baud rate AIS? If yes, I'll buy it for the $99.

Was able to find the manual on-line and the unit can do both, but one loses the RS 232 Out. I am not interested.
