Have you considered trying to have the screen repaired? If you google something like "marine lcd repair replace" you will find several who claim to be able to do this. I've never tried this, but it might be possible.

I was curious about this because I have the same unit. A little searching turned up this link - if you are good with electronics, you might be able to replace the LCD display yourself.

Yest I did looked in to fixing the LCD screen, but the are asking for it around $400. I will definatly look in to fixing myself. Thanks for the help and good info

Have you checked on EBAY? Simrad parts show up there fairly often. That's how I keep my AP35 running. Another good source is Max Marine in Pompano Beach, FL. Max is a knowledgeable guy and stands behind his products.
