Two slightly impaired ICOM IC-M604 VHF radios

Our two earlier IC-M604 VHF radios, initially installed in early 2009, developed some relatively minor glitches last year sometime... so I've just replaced those with with new IC-M605s.

The two M604s have been good radios and they still actually work reasonably well, though, so maybe they could perhaps be useful for someone as a spare, especially for anyone with M604s already.

Or even as less expensive primaries for someone on a budget but wanting to "upgrade" to pretty good DSC-capable radios. ICOM USA says they can both be repaired; just need new motherboards. OTOH, they were only able to guess about potential repair cost; they said usually it's somewhere between $150-$300.

If to be used as is, the glitches are as follows:

Radio 1:
- Sometimes the radio, when set to Priority Scan, decides it likes to do Normal Scan instead
- Sometimes the radio decides it prefers a different weather channel than the one selected by the operator for the WX Alert function
Radio 2:
- The Channel 16/Call Channel key on the head unit doesn’t work to select Channel 16. It does work to select Channel 9 (call channel) and Channel 16 does work when selected with the rotary channel selector dial
- The Channel Group Indicator (USA, CAN, INTL, WX) in the function display doesn’t show USA or INTL when those groups are selected, only shows “CA” when the CAN group is selected

Offers over $50 each, please.

-Chris
