For Sale: Volvo Penta MS4A transmissions

These Volvo Penta MS4A transmissions are being sold as a pair and as is. They're being sold because I couldn't find parts for the transmission marked with an "X" and the boat has been retrofitted with new transmissions.
The transmission marked with an “X” clunks multiple times before engaging reverse gear. The other has no known problems. They both have ~1880 hours of use and were manufactured in 1987.
The gear ratio for both is 2.63:1.
The asking price, $4,000 for the pair, is ½ the cost of one refurbished MS4A.
The buyer must pay shipping cost from Rapid River Michigan 49878. The transmissions are crated separately and each crate weighs ~120 lbs.
