For Sale: Wheel steering system

This is a cable steering system made by Goiot. Price reduced to $495 or make offer. 26" wheel, pedestal, guard, quadrant, four pulleys with mounting plates, backing plate, and 40 feet of new cable. The system is complete. There is some surface aging, but everything is structurally sound.

This came off my 1976 Dufour 31 sailboat, and worked great. I converted to tiller steering, so no longer need this.

The pulleys are all the same size, despite the optical illusion caused by the camera angle--4.75" in diameter. The metal parts are all marine grade aluminum or SS[ That is not rust you see in the picture, but grease and gunk. As of now, the rebuilt Richie compass is still available separately for $350

I am located in the Puget Sound area. Shipping may be possible but I prefer to sell it locally.
