Wind Vane: Scanmar Auto-Helm

Hi! I'd like to Buy:
Wind Vane, Scanmar Auto-Helm. Condition is not critical. I have some tools and workshop to fix scratches.
All the best!

Perhaps you are just around the corner in which case I have one for sale. More than likely you are half a world away from me in Tasmania. So where are you?

Re: Wind Vane: Scanmar Auto-Helm

Hi Wayne! You lucky sailor! Why not to pack the windVane with you and visit here in Finland? It is dramatically warming up here now: already minus 10 Centigrade. Sea is frozen. :-D

So if the earth is cubical... we are around two corners....
I asked DHL around another business...and the shipping from States costs abt 1000$ ... soooooo.... I'm interested but everything depends.. and we have lot of time: taking off on June 2019.

If someone has an idea about shipping to distant locations, please give a hint.

Re: Wind Vane: Scanmar Auto-Helm

Sorry to hear you are so far away. Yes it is rather bulky and heavy. I doubt the rudder part will fit on a normal pallet or be suitable as accompanied baggage if I were to visit Finland. I wish you all the best for your sailing in 2019.
Fair winds and warm seas!
