This is a terrific product. While 20% of the entries in the recent Golden Globe Race (single-handed, non-stop, around the world) used a Windpilot Pacific, 40% of the finisher had one. Check out their web site:

That's a great deal for someone, if you have and want to mount on a swimstep you will need taller flanges, otherwise will fit most all transom as it has plenty of adjustment.
I swear by mine and it's doing its job offshore as I write this.
