Re: Winter cover

I might be interested. Have you removed your stanchions to get this to fit? Is there any frame under the cover?
I am considering leaving my Tartan (Our Lattitude) in St Martin next Hurricane season. Not sure if they cover their vessels there during that season. Do you know?

Re: Winter cover

Hi
No, the stanchions remain. There is a 2x4 from the pulpit to an x brace at the mast. From the mast the boom is used, then 2 x braces in the cockpit and 2x4.
I don't have a clue about the islands. Go to the ssca website and query them.
Sorry. Anything else, let me know.
Brian

Ambergris, In the Caribbean, if you wish to protect your boat during a hurricane, it is absolutely necessasy to remove all exterior canvas from the boat; bimini / sails / stack packs / weather cloths / etc. 20 years in the BVI's. George
