Re: Worthington Aluminum Propane tank 10-15 lb.

Three questions:
1. Is this a North American style valve?
2. If so, is it the new style?
3. When was the last inspection on it? Some fill stations won't fill if it's too old.

1. Yes it is
2. I'm not sure if it is the "new " style. I filled the tank about 8 months ago. Does that help?
3.There is an inspection sticker from 2019

Re: Worthington Aluminum Propane tank 10-15 lb.

Thanks, I am sure that information will be helpful for others but I just checked Worthington's dimension for this tank and it's a touch wider than what will fit in my propane locker. The Tartan 4100 has a molded double tank locker that is specific for a steel 10lb tank, which is more narrow than the aluminum version.

Thanks,
Tom

Can you ship a previously filled propane tank? Maybe if you take the valve off and fully evacuate it?

I've shipped them before ...as long as they are empty.

Re: Worthington Aluminum Propane tank 10-15 lb.

Previously filled tanks according to the USPS can only be legally shipped by ground. (even if "empty", they still have residual amounts of flammable gas in them)
Didn't check UPS, but assume they would be similar.
