My LCD went out and sent it to signet for repair but it wasn't fixable. This came off a 1986 sailboat. I need to get the boat across the bay to get it out of the water to install a new unit.

What is the problem? You can't cross a bay w/o a depth sounder?

The xdcr is more than likely fine. Signet is still in business give them a call. You can send your display to them for repair. Needing a depth sounder to sail across the bay is pretty funny.

Well, it's kind of easy to understand. A 6 ft keep in a shallow bay. Please respond if you have one.

Where are you..?I am in St Pete Fl..I have one on my boat but not sure I want to part with it...You should be able to use the same thru hull that you have now...just wire it to the different signet. 727 698 4139

Signet can and will restore any of their instruments. Been there, done that.

I have two of these, one at the helm and the other at the nav; I got replacement sounders trivially when I was doing my initial refit.
