Chicago: Who'll be first boat in for the season?

I drove along Lakeshore drive (Chicago) on Saturday. It looked like the bouys and docks were all in but no boats yet. Who's going to be first?

It was just a reminder that I am living too far north and the boating season is altogether too short!

We have about 6 boats in on the North side of the 1000 Islands.

I expect to have mine in by May 1.

Depends on how hardy you are. My boat came out the end of Oct last fall. With a nice day you could be sailing anytime now, just really cold water!!!!

Past 4 years I've been in late April and pulled late October. We're on Georgian Bay which is esentially same body of water and Latitude as Michigan.
