Try flying over it. It is miles and miles since the Colo. R. was diverted, and the geology is plain as day to read.

I'd love to chat with you guys about these issues, and there's certainly a lot of meat here to get one's teeth into, but this thread has nothing to do with cruising or sailing, and is intrinsically political.
