Re: Leland Harbor

Last I heard, they sprang for their own dredge ship, so rhey should be able to keep their channel maintained.

In the Spring of 2017 the harbor at Leland Michigan was dredged to a depth of 12-feet by the town's own newly purchased dredge.

I visited the harbor (by car) a few days ago. There was a dredging operation underway at the harbor entrance under contract from the US Army Corps of Engineers. I am certain that when that is finished the harbor entrance will be at least 12-feet again.

For extensive coverage of Leland, Michigan harbor and its dredging, see

Re: Leland Harbor

Can confirm what Continuouswave said re: dredging. Was there in early June on a roadtrip and it was still going on. Should be done by now, though?
