Are you saying that living on a boat with less space than most people's garages is logical

As to costs versus returns, etc., this pertinent thread on SN covered a lot of that:

Well I'm pretty sure logic has nothing to do with it...

Thanks for the link, I'll check it out!

I should have mentioned that if you read through all the posts, you'll find some interesting comments by current vbloggers about how the different models work and all the moolah they're making (ha, or actually not making...).

I've read through most of that thread. It would appear that people in this thread pretty much nailed it. Sex sells...

It's been quite enlightening!

Re: Curiosity killed a cat or something...

So I have started to view the first 6 episodes of La Vagabonde as per the recommendation of some on this thread. I do find it enjoyable and entertaining due to similar interests. Vicarious---yes. However, I find it unrealistic that such an adventure could have been possible for myself at that age unless I was born wealthy. I was not, therefore I cannot relate. If people want to donate money for such things, more power to them. Maybe I can do the same. There is another person named Baldwin (voyages of Atom). His videos seem much more realistic. Cruising on a limited budget fits more into my paradigm. Cheers...

There about to get allot of hits.

A accent, water, sails, good locations. People out there doing what we all want to do. What's not to like.

Monte has the right perspective on this -- different times, same basic model. The majority of people's lives would be deadly tedious if they weren't able to live vicariously off someone else's adventures!
