international purchase - documents?

Ok - I'm buying a boat internationally (private sale). First for me, so just crossing my Ts so-to-speak. US citizen and planning to document USCG.

I've already seen/inspected the boat. Survey ok. Offer Accepted.

Now in terms of what I plan to gather at handover:

- USCG bill of sale signed and notarized
- current title, registration and evidence of removal from foreign registry and VAT paid certificate.


Questions:
- do I need 2 original USCG bills of sale or is 1 original ok and can just make copies?
- is just the USCG bill of sale ok or do I need a separate non-uscg one for insurance, international cruising, etc?
- any other docs/info I'm missing?
