What do you think?
I can buy a new 290W panel for $270. How much would you charge to "fix it"?

It isn't just a solar panel, it is a SYSTEM of cells. What is wrong with yours?
My guess you did not equalize the thermo latches. $2700 to come out and inspect it and determine what needs to be repaired sounds like a fair price.
The sun's energy transmission system is quite complicated.

When you consider how much global warming is caused by excess neutrons in people's solar panels, $2700 seems like a small price to pay to save the entire planet.

And the best part is you won't remember after the neuron removal either.

Re: Start Business Repairing Solar Panels

You know my solar panels are not working right about half the time. Oh they work ok during the day, but boy does the output fall off at night. I think my flux capacitor is broken. Any thought on how to recover all that night time dark energy???

Did they come and clean your neurons sailorchic? Maybe you need warranty service, cause they obviously missed a few

If you turn on your spreader lights they should keep your solar panels charging whevn its dark. Even better is your using led lights.
As for your flux capacitor, it depends on if its the new fusion drive system or the older walmart hydrogen drive setup..

Sheesh, you guys! I would have thought you remembered that the gov requisitioned ALL civilian neutrons some years back... they needed them for the neutron bombs they were building. I doubt if there is a single stray neutron left in 'Murica.

So Nimble, I'm calling your bluff: show me your neutrons with before and after photos and then I will believe you and offer some startup money. We'll get rich together!

What also works when sailing is to turn on your inverter to run the battery charger...

The best way is to plug a big spotlight into the inverter outlet and shine it right onto the solar panels. You won't get as much power as during the day, but it's a lot better than nothing.
