Surveyor Recomendations Ft. Lauderdale

We are buying a boat in Pompano Beach and need some recommendations for a good surveyor in that area. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks

Re: Surveyor Recomendations Ft. Lauderdale

Agree with the above!!! Beware of hack job surveyors that claim to be accredited and have actually lost all their credentials. Florida's East coast has several. .whomever you go with make sure they are willing to sign a contract and have errors and omissions insurance and are willing to share that with you. Some of these hacks actually have a well known positive reputations because they are likeable and easy going (as are most con guys) and then you get a survey that isn't worth the paper its printed on.

What he said!

The surveyors I used actually had a clause that if they miss something they are not liable. At times buying a boat feels like buying a house! Don't trust anyone who does not have your last name.

That said --- once you buy the boat have fun
