What is Ti status?
I have seen ths mentioned in a few videos about boats in the Med. Apparently, a boat that is in EU waters for >18mo then has to pay VAT. Having Ti status prevents this. How is this documented?

Also, is there any reason to reflag a vessel? For example if a vessel is purchased and has a Croatian flag, and I am a US citizen, does changing the vessel to a US flag eliminate the need for VAT?
