BVI to Panama (question)

I have done the BVI's to Panama via Tortola-Guadeloupe-St. Lucia to Panama

Has anybody done:
1)BVI to Puerto Rico - Jamaica (sail South) to Panama
2) or another suggestion?

It will be done in Feb (this coming month)

Last June, we (2) sailed from BVI to Panama in one shot pretty much in thumb line, just one tack, about 140 to 160 nm a day. No motoring until the last day.

The most easy sail I have never had. Stay away the coast of Columbia. Check you pilot chart for your departure month and plan accordingly. Have fun.

As Rockdawg says. I did it in one shot from St Martin. Easy sail. One photo of a cloud formation near panama is used by a number of weather sites round the world. So its an interesting, good sail.

Dont let people tell you to go via the ABCs. The Katabatic winds off the Andies are hell.
