Continuing the Voyage

Having spent too long in the USA, and a far too cold winter in Annapolis!, ( and US customs requiring We leave by early 2010) Rhosyn Mor is continuing on her voyage. I would like to thank all here at CF, and the many friends we have made here, for info, encouragement and all that gushy stuff.
We have established a blog at
rhsoynmor.talkspot.com
Hopefully every now and then we can pop in here and see what yer all up to
Rhosyn Mor is upping anchor for a couple of weeks cruising on the Chesapeake, then headed to Florida, Cuba, Mexico and points south and west.
Having come to the US has been a wonderful time, but new cultures beckon.
We hope to see some of you out there,
fair winds to you all

Enjoy! Sadly for me, I won't be sailing down til fall of 2010, but if you are ever around Isla Margarita please look me up - I'd be happy to help out in any way I can.

Im sat here watching the sun lowering over the North hill and the swallows are gathered on the wires as they do this time of year, congregating ready for their return flight to South Africa and you lucky buggers are all making your cruising plans to head south too.

If your heading to the Pacific - do you know about the group - Pacific Puddle Jumpers? They are a collection of cruisers all ready in the Pacific and others heading there each year during the spring "window." Look them up as a Google Group and you will find good stuff about what is currently happening in the Pacific and what is planned for this next season's group. Some of the group branch off the main route to places like Easter Island, Pitcairn and other places before getting back together in French Polynesia. Also if you are Pacific bound, download the Penniped's Waypoints and/or the South Pacific Waypoints. They contain critical data on the uncharted reefs, atolls and corrections for GPS for the major islands and harbors.

The puddle jumpers can be found through Latitude38 magazine. Lot's of good information there. Last year those who signed up did not have to pay deposits for being in French territory.......i2f
