Exumas in November

How is cruising the Exumas around Thanksgiving time?
Is the weather unsettled and uncooperative around that time?
Thank you!

I don't think you can't go wrong any month, although November through May are the busiest. Weather wise, https://weatherspark.com/m/150371/11...ng%2078%C2%B0F. has some useful information.

Re: Exumas in November

I’m planning on heading that way in November as well. I watched the weather last winter and it seemed pretty cyclical. There are reliable sources that broadcast via the web or ssb in the morning.

I just assume everybody heads to the same places when the wind picks up. I think the spring may be the sweet spot to avoid weather and crowds.

Re: Exumas in November

I was there in Nov and preferred it to Dec/Jan because it was less crowded and the Christmas winds hadn’t arrived yet. Those winds were pretty consistent, coming every so often, and were cold. In fact, if I’m ready, and the weather seems ok, will leave in Oct and be out of the area before New Years as I head south.
