planning to cruise from Ft.Lauderdale to Toronto

I'm considering taking my 37' cruiser with a fly bridge from Ft.Lauderdale to Toronto.
1st time making such a plan for a long trip.
I have no idea how much time it will take...
What kind of gas consumption is involved...
Any advice or direction is appreciated

We'll need some more information before being able to offer any usable advice. Such as...

When are you planning to leave?
Do you have any time or schedule restrictions?
What's the fuel consumption rate of your boat at cruising speed and at 6 knots?
Are you equipped and capable of cruising offshore, or will you stay to the ICW?
If the ICW, will you anchor out, or will you require marina facilities?
If offshore, are you prepared to go 24/7, and at what cruising speed?
