Sailing Toronto To Miami with a deep keel!
Hi All,

New to this forum. Im contemplating taking my new CS 36 Merlin from Toronto to Miami, and possibly on to the Bahamas from there. I draw about 6'5 (deep keep configuration!). Departing late September, early October.

Anny recommended Cruising Plan?

Seems like the most straight forward would be Toronto to Oswego, mast down and traverse the locks to around albany, mast back up, over to NYC and out to the Atlantic and down.

Thought about the ICW but I suspect my draft would be an issue based on what I am reading?

Any opinions suggestions?
