I am looking to purchase a yacht for live aboard, staying in adelaide for 6 months then cruising. Does any body have any info on live aboards at refuge cove marina north haven or garden island yacht club, refuge cove says no pets, i have a dog is this a problem?

Scarborough marina in Brisbane says no pets but the rule is not enforced. I think often the rule is just there to fall back on if there is a problem( such as irresponsible owners) Hopefully someone with experience of the particular marina can confirm. Good luck!

There are some liveaboards in Adelaide that we know of but I'm not sure if they're legal. I do know that the clubs and marina operators have a stranglehold on the marinas in Adelaide. No charters is one issue.

We're in San Francisco living on our Liberty 458. We have lots of liveaboards and most have dogs. Australia seems to be overly restrictive on liveaboards such that we are unsure whether its even feasible long term in Australia.
