Cell/Data Service along Lower Florida Keys

Will be sailing in lower Florida Keys and have Verizon and T-Mobile. Wondering what type of service you are finding as we will need computer internet access while sailing. Have looked at their coverage maps but only see land map coverage. How far off the keys are you finding viable service? TIA!

It has been a year since we've been down there but I've never considered coverage an issue in the Keys. I'd expect good coverage everywhere within 3 miles of Hwy 1, which more or less translates to 3 miles offshore. I'd expect 1 or 2 bars out a bit further but if you are sailing the keys there is little need to be that far offshore.
