Keep a positive attitude and remember the story about the guy with no shoes.
James...Speaking of shoes...Here is a song about Christmas shoes that will break your heart if you let the words in.

Merry Christmas everyone!...you only get one life to spread around...spread it thin and touch as many people as possible.

It sure did when we were there in the '90's.

Mazatlan is a huge city and the sewer outfall is/was nearby.
The wind direction almost always comes from the direction of the sun.
Everybody wanted to be OFF THE BOAT from lunch to at least 4PM.

On the other hand, one morning, all the cruisers in the anchorage got invited via the local VHF net to tour the USS Kittyhawk which was anchored out just to the South of the South jetty. (Obviously pre 9/11)

Christmas on Moon River

We will be here for Christmas on the Moon River, a major tributary of the Mekong River which rises in Tibet and meanders through China, Laos, Thailand & Cambodia and leaves Indochina after a short visit to Vietnam :-

Merry Christmas, this is the best Christmas photo I could come up with, my relaunching at Maylands, Perth, Australia on Dec 23 after a 7+ year refit. Just for the record, we are expecting a 36 C (97 F) Christmas Day.

Merry Christmas!

There was thick fog this morning out of Everett, but we finally made it to Blake Island west of Seattle. We hooked up to a buoy as the sun was setting and two bald eagles flew overhead, very beautiful. Tomorrow is presents and exploring the island! Merry Christmas!
