City Mooring Fields

Anyone know where there is a list of city mooring fields in America?
Please don't refer me to a book that has to be purchased.
I am coming up short when choosing my search words on the internet.

A complete list would be great.

Thanks

Who would compile and maintain such a list? Why would you even think it might exist?

"America" is way beyond the cruising scope of most sailors, but you might be able to start by writing to every municipality in the US and then trying to put the information on a sponsored web site.

If that task seems a bit overwhelming to you....pick a smaller target and look at the cruising guides, on paper or the web.

Mooring fields are marked on NOAA marine charts in the USA. All that you have to do is study the chart for the area you are interested in, and note where the designated mooring field(s) are.
