You’re not , nasty fabrics, especially next to the skin

There’s a nice range of small caravan twin tub washer /spin machines around . Great devices.
I'm thinking of varieties of fleece and quick dry shirts and such... and I think the climate's a little cooler where I am too...
The one downside for me is the stink, but you get used to it...

I’ve sailed a lot in Northern European waters. I still wear cotton next to the skin , yes I know it’s not as “ good” as synthetics but at least I don’t itch and smell, drying takes a little longer but it’s worth it.

I'm mostly cotton and wool. Synthetics for foulies, fleece, and long underwear.

Re: Laundry

Dear all, 3 years ago we bought a Daewoo mini washing machine DWD-CV702WP via a Dutch website. use these in a Beneteau 473 so far no problem with it ... really a super washing machine. Here you can buy directly, they also deliver to every marina throughout Europe.

Laundry

You’d get a lot of laundry done for 750 euros.

The small twin tubs aimed at the caravan market are much better value
