Lee Cloth

Hi everyone. We bought our boat to live on about a month and a half ago. We’ve spent the last 7 weeks learning what is on the boat. We haven’t found any Lee Cloth. Does anybody know where to get a couple that won’t break the bank? No I can’t sew. I did look at learning how to make these but it seems a little involved as I want super sturdy lee cloths. Any help is appreciated!

Re: Lee Cloth

Vicki, do you have a local seemmistress nearby. Should cost less than the Defender ones and would be made to measure.

Ours are wrapped around a piece of wooden battern and fixed under the cushions at the back of the seat. When not in use they are stored folded flat under the cushions. When in use they come forward under the cushions and up secured with clips to the woodwork. They don't need to be full length, a foot short at each end means less of a coffin feeling in use.

Material? some form of sofa/settee material would be appropriate and comfortable if you lean on them. Canvas a bit rough.
