LEROS MARINA greece

hi there. planning to store my yacht at LEROS greece marina for 8 months beginning oct 2023.
any thoughts?
weather ok there over winters?
services avalable, maybe painting, upholstery etc?

Hey there, we spend a few months each year in/around Leros, just left a couple weeks ago. Can't say much about Leros Marina (Evros), only ducked in there for 2 nights for a big southerly which makes the bay a washing machine. I believe their boatyard is excellent for repairs, Amel folks swear by it. It's 100 percent protected from everything in every direction. Great showers/toilets/laundry. The town beside it (Laki) is a strangely charming little place unlike anything in Greece (and with an incredible green grocer and 3 butchers and a fish monger), but to find much else open in winter you'd want to have a car to go 5km north to platanos/agia marina. I hear it's quite rainy and can be a bit blowy, but not like Rhodes or Samos. For winter repairs I'd defo choose it over anything else in the area including Rhodes (where we spent last winter on the water).
