Can anyone tell me where the livaboard marinas in vancouver are

Are you looking for downtown, or are you looking for anywhere in the GVRD? Last I heard there was one marina in False Creek that allowed them. Trouble is that the marinas keep changing their rules, and cities do not like live-aboards so do their best to discourage them. They see them as drains on resources and non contributing (ie non-tax paying) which is silly, but you cannot convince them of that.

We lived in a marina just outside of Nanaimo for just over a year. That marina prohibited live-aboard vessels, but allowed stay-aboards. Their definition was that live-aboard was open ended, while stay-aboard was for a defined period. While we were there, extensions to the staying time were freely given.
