Re: Liveaboard budget-looking for your feedback

I think you make an excellent point. No point in going to the Mediterranean if you're not going to take advantage of the diverse and high quality cuisine. My next step is to look at our spending and see perhaps where I can reduce the budge elsewhere and increase the restaurant line item. I do want to thank you again. This is exactly the type of feed back I was hoping to reserve when I posted the budget. Thanks again, I appreciate your help.

Thanks very much. Feel free to compare the data. If your willing to share your data, I'd very very interested to see what your forecast looks like. Yes, we are paying cash for the boat, so there is no line item for a boat loan payment.

Hell yes you need income. Please note line 17 of the spreadsheet. Appreciate your review and any further input you may like to share with us.

Re: Liveaboard budget-looking for your feedback

We haven't detailed out the upgrades/refit as we haven't picked out a boat yet. I do think you make a good point and that we can easily blow through $30K very quickly. I think for budgeting purposes, I will increase this amount on my next revision of the spreadsheet. Thanks again for taking the time to review and provide your input. You're response is exactly what we were hoping for when we posted the information.

Thanks very much for taking the time to review our information and provide your input. Needless to say, this live-aboard life is not cheap. At the end of the day you can't take it with you and I intend to go our with a bang. Best of luck getting things sorted out. Hope to stay in touch.
