Liveaboards Anywhere in Monterey Bay accepting pets?

Hi there...

I am new to this forum and so happy that I joined. Anyway, I am looking for a liveaboard anywhere from north of Santa Cruz to Monterey that has no or low waiting list and accepts pets.

Does it exist? If not, could someone give me an idea of the waiting list time frames?

Thanks!
Jeanie

Pretty sure Moss Landing has a wait list for assigned berths (I'm on it), and you have to have an assigned berth to live aboard. Last I checked, the wait time was 12-14 months.

It is true that they have transient berths available with no wait, and could accommodate your boat (but not you) until you got your assigned berth.

They do allow pets for a very nominal fee (something like $5/month).

Oh wow I get it now.
But how come you have to go through such a waiting list ?
Is it this way every where ?

Especially overseas ?

Lets just say, I know someone living in transit slip since September last year with no wait list. Cost a little more until you get perm slip. They like to get the wait slip fee but you will get slip soon if not fishing season.

Does Monterey or Moss Landing take, floating homes. We are going to sell our house and purchase a floating home. I grew up in Watsonville so I familiar with the area. It as been a long time since we where there. Does Moss Landing have, electric, sewer and water. Does anyone know of places on the delta.
