Looking for a boat like a Grand Banks 32

I have a slip available to me and I'm planning on purchasing a boat to live on. In order to fit the slip, the beam of the boat needs to be less than 10 feet which seems to be very limiting. Are there any boats similar to the Grand Banks 32 with that narrow of a hull? I am trying to avoid getting a sail boat as I am a very tall person. I know that I'll probably have to sacrifice something but I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive boat that is narrow but has a ton of headroom. What do you think? Any suggestions you have would be great. Thanks as always for the help!

How about something like this?

2000 Nimble Wanderer Trawler Power New and Used Boats for Sale -

8.5 foot beam!

Good luck.

RFG,

is this going to be used as a boat, or just as a home?

If its strictly a live aboard, then I would look at a houseboat. They won't have any sea keeping ability to speak of, but will have the most room for the size, and are much less expensive. Something like 2001 Catamaran Cruiser Aquacruiser 10x35 Power Boat For Sale - www.yachtworld.com
