Multihullers, who do you go through for insurance?

The hunt for my boat before I take off next year is leading me down some paths with multihulls.

I have read that multi hulls especially trimarans can be hard to insure.

I am currently looking at a bluewater capable cruising trimaran but want to be sure that I can insure the thing, even if it is just liability.

If that is a no go there are a few catamarans around but they are not as good of a deal.

I would be living and travelling on the boat for a few years for my use case.

Supposedly using the term "Liveaboard" is frowned upon and I should use the term "Extended cruiser"

I am in the united states.

It is possible this should be in the multihull forum but my use case is living on the boat so I posted here.
