Puerto Rico

Hi there,

anybody know of a marina in Puerto Rico that allows liveaboard, and the operation of a charter operation?

Thanks much in advance.

Re: Puerto Rico

Puerto Del Rey is very well run, has charter operators and is closer to the nice places to sail and cruise.

Re: Puerto Rico

Thank you Phil. I am going back and forth between staying in Panama for the season or heading up to PR. I appreciate the feedback.

Re: Puerto Rico

Puerto Del Rey is a great place! We spent a couple of months there last year and it's very well situated to visit the reefs and even go over to Viewques and Culebra. They have nice facilities including a little cafe with awesome Puerto Rican empanadillas, a laundry mat, book exchange, wifi, etc. We loved it there and the people are so nice all over Puerto Rico. If it were me I'd be headed there already!

Re: Puerto Rico

Hoghunter,

thanks for the encouraging words. My boat is currently in the Bocas del Toro, Panama, but I think I will head over to PR once the hurricane season ends.

Fair winds.

Keep us posted and send pics to us back home who aren't out where we'd rather be- cruising.
