Re: Repelling Insects

My dad always said after a thousand bites you wont notice them and he was right. also i have had great success with dull clothes, eating citrus fruits and avoiding bananas. It's pretty amusing watching someone going crazy flailing around with a cloud around them when i am a couple steps away from where they are, bug free.

Well,

Good on ya, hubertstephen. I've been chased by clouds of mozzies at Dease Lake, and didn't like it much at all!

Re: Repelling Insects

The most amusing repellant I have bought was in Australia….. Terrific marketing!!

Wack-Off…..as used by the Australian Armed Forces

I can just imagine them training at it all together....

Re: Repelling Insects

I use listerine too ... and it does relieve the itch and sterilize the wound which I have been subconsciously scratching for 20 minutes

Vegemite on toast in the morning and two beers in the afternoon. The buggars still bite.Should I eat or drink more?
Doesn't the listerine feel sticky?

Maybe you should try soaking the toast in the beer in the morning and spreading the vegemite on the itch. If it doesn't stop them biting maybe the smell will drive them away.
