Shared Ownership

My wife and I are considering purchasing a catamaran to do a 3 to 6 month cruise in 2012. We have looked at Gemini both new and used Older Fountaine Padjot 1994. Also considered 36 Endevour. We've picked these boats primaraly for price and they meet our minimum comfort level for a cruise with two small kids. We would prefer to rent a boat for this trip but found no affordable options yet for long term lease. We would also consider shared ownership because we think beyond this trip we most probably would continue to use the boat 2-4 weeks a year. Does anyone have any input on our boat choices suggestions on long term rental or know someone with a catamaran that would consider any of these options or any other suggestions.

Hi, I saw your post here on wanting to purchase possibly a Gemini. I lived aboard one for 4 years (a 2001 Gemini 105Mc) here in south Florida.
