Me too, exactly. Digital antennae gets us PBS and sometimes NBC.

Re: Size of your TV?

So, you want to put a tv onboard do you? Well, I put a 65" Samsung with 18 jewel-box tweeters and 4 subwoofers all positioned in my salon within a 4' circumference. But now, my eyes are fried, my hearing is shot and my boating experiences are significantly reduced because of these ailments. My suggestion...leave the tv onshore, sit on your aft deck, crack a cold one and enjoy your surroundings. Just sayin!

Cheers All!

Re: Size of your TV?

The best advice I got was "get the biggest that will fit". We have a 32" mounted in the forepeak of a 38' sailboat. We are cruising Mexico and the TV is a central point of focus and entertainment. Also displays our Navigation apps etc.

Re: Size of your TV?

No TV on the Rose. I've not watched TV in a long time. Just an odd DVD on the laptop once or twice a year.

Re: Size of your TV?

39"- was the largest I could put on our wall that would not be blocked by the heater pipe. 6' viewing distance. Movie time!

I'm interested in getting a TV for movie times, just not sure on the appropriate size! I can basically fit any size in my cat, but still, you CAN go too big i think...
