We'll do the VHF separate. In the life I'm leaving, I'm a WHS Advisor/ Trainer Assessor. I've got First Aid. Just have to do the old Risk Assessment and set up my kit and response plan for the boat.
I've found some places to contact over in Greece, already. Worse case, I do the 10 day program aboard their boat. But, would much prefer doing aboard my own.
The way things are now, I'm prepared to live-aboard her in the marina for a month or maybe two until I'm not a danger to myself, my crew (which will be my wife, so that's kind of a priority since she's the Head Cook and Bottle Washer... Oh yeah, and I love her) and the population in general.
