Re: Small boat

Laika, Vancouver 27 is a great boat. When I was in Tahiti in the mid/late 70s two of them came thru, each single handing. They had come from (I think) Canada and stayed within sight of each other for the whole trip. They did their watches so that one or the other was awake and could raise the other on the VHF if a ship was sighted. I had heard of people trying to do that, but never with any success. They were brand new boats back then and I admired them._____ Grant.
