I get jumpy when I see a 40+ forecast. ~30's you can still be stupid and be okay, a gybe at 40+ can decapitate someone.

Checked boat at 9am on Long Islands north shore it was a solid 25-30 1' chop in the marina.

Later it was getting into the 35-40 range, I was at work, will check in the morning again.

I rig for the winter wet storage with new double 5/8" on the bow single springs and x stern.

Last year had single bow lines, one snapped

It was a wild ride yesterday. Luckily, the only damage we had was a couple of broken ornaments. We did see some power boats that had damage to their swim platforms, from bucking wildly in their slips. Our next door neighbor has had the entire right hand corner of his swim platform destroyed.

Guess some broken glass is not a big deal.....

Glad to hear that you weathered it with minimal damage and an excuse to go out and support the economy.
