The safest (crime) place to liveaboard?

Hello to you

Here we are, we have to decide between a Lagoon 42 or Bali 42 owner.
We live in France and will spend 3 or 4 months on our boat in the sun. We have no ambition of a big crossing but on the contrary of anchorage in pretty little coves or shelters.
We thought we had found the ideal playground in the Bahamas, but we read here and there that safety on board was sometimes a problem around some islands. We also looked at the British virgin islands that look safer.
In short you will have understood we are not adventurers, we are looking for the quietest and most beautiful corner, so if you have advice we are takers,
