Re: Toilet Paper!

This is an excellent thread.. I have never seen better ideas. I have a portable sprayer that was used for deer repellent spray out in the garden. Perhaps I could rinse it out and use it for a bidet? I carry plenty of water and deer will certainly stay stay away. My sons will no doubt be skeptical...

Re: Toilet Paper!

Interesting thread for sure.
One head type I don't think that was mentioned is the 'incinerating' type, of various designs: Incinerating toilet - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia .

Out on remote relay stations we used two types of outhouses, the usual pit type (the kind some of my grandparents had ), and the fancy electric "Incinolet" ones (the stations always had gensets, and often commercial power).
Those Incinolet's probably use more power than an average boat has available, but they sure work, zzzaappp!
Without looking through some catalog pages, isn't there also a marine head that incinerates the 'stuff'.

With a really big boat you might want one of these: Pig toilet - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (I ran across a Wiki picture of an Indian multi-seat pig loo, but can't find it now; you'd give up bacon ).

Actually. ..if you read the bags the diapers come in...some of them actually say your speed to rinse the diaper before disposing.

Easy.

Start a thread about what guns to carry onboard.

Then start another one about which anchor is best.

Re: Toilet Paper!

I use the regular store type 2-ply TP and never have had a clog with my standard. But I'm seriously considering upgrading my head so that I can upgrade the TP!

Life seems too short to spend it with the fall apart TP.

How do all those nature's head users possibly use a wash hose? Compromises compromises.

No need. We already come out smelling like flowers -- moist, earthy, freshly picked flowers
