on my boat thers 3 closed partitions under all berths...these have a top opening only...therfor the air mouvement is almost zero...I amagin these have been designed in case of flooding...can I drill holse in the upper sides of these partitions to help promote air flow and keep condensasion away?

Jobi, We did just that in every hidden bulkhead on our sailboat and then added computer 12 volt fans port and starboard on both ends of the boat. We never had odor issues, mold or condensation after that. Chuck
