No, I think CCbullseye posted that advice for me. See the previous page. I just made the mistake of replying to the wrong person. I should have replied to ccbullseye, so my apologies for the mistake.

Were you able to stay close to your original budget of $100,000? It would seem that on Yachtworld, most of the Beneteau Oceanis 50's in that year range are going for $200-300k...

Haha, nope, we had to "up it" quite substantially lol. We surveyed and sea trialled our boat and it passed with flying colours. We have a lot to do between now and 1 August, when we intend being on our boat for good.
